Stolicker Sitas, 64, of Herrick Township, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012 at her home with her loving family at her side. Beverly was born Nov. 28, 1947 in Sayre, a daughter of the late Danford Terry and Betty Jane Gilbert Stolicker. She graduated from Sayre High School and married Mike Sitas on Aug. 30, 1969. They celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary last August. She was employed by Arrow United in Wyalusing in customer service for 37 years. She was once praised at a company conference in Washington, DC by John Reed, President of Mestek, Arrow United’s Parent Company, who told the audience that Beverly Sitas was a perfect example of the way customer service reps should do their job. She loved camping especially at Assateague Island in Maryland, which was her favorite. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and also enjoyed her Jack Russell Terrier, Daisy. Surviving are her spouse, Mike at home; son, Samuel Sitas of Wyalusing; two brothers, Frank (Debbie) Stolicker of Waverly, NY and Donald Stolicker and Greg Johnson of Spokane, WA; three sisters, Barbara Sorenson of Waverly, NY, Terry (Mike) Minwell of Horseheads, NY and Marie E. Besecker, of Waverly, NY and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 12 Noon at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, with Pastor Patricia Newhart officiating. The family will provide flowers and they ask that memorial contributions be sent to the Bradford County Humane Society, PO Box 179, Ulster, PA 18850.
