Mary was born in Philadelphia, on September 17, 1923 a daughter of the late Francis & Katherine Slowey Saring. She married Joseph S. Crawford Sr. of Lansdowne, PA on June 20, 1942. They resided in the greater Philadelphia area until moving to retiring to Bradford County in 1976. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Wyalusing, PA. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, and traveling. Surviving: Three sons: Joseph S. (Judith) Crawford Jr. Severna Park, MD Francis (Deborah) Crawford Holland, PA Daniel (Lorraine) Crawford Levittown, PA Daughter: Katherine (Rick) Carr Wilmot, PA Sister: Sister Frances Katherine MSBT Philadelphia, PA Eighteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband and a son, James C. Crawford, a sister; Mary Saring, and three brothers: James Saring, Frank Saring and Joseph Saring. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 17th, 2012, at 10 A.M. at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Catholic Church, Wyalusing, PA, with the Rev. Joseph J. Manarchuck, presiding. Interment will be in the Norconk Cemetery, Wilmot, PA. Friends may call at the Church from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the P.
