DEAN HOMER FUNERAL HOME 206 WATER STREET PO BOX 1 DUSHORE, PA 18614 TEL 570 928-8163 FAX 570 928-8116 Email pdh@epix.net January 10, 2012 Mrs. Lucy Mae Corey, age 82, a lifelong resident of Sayre / Athens died peacefully after a lengthy illness, on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at the Highlands Care Center in Laporte, PA where she re-located after the Athens flooding. Lucy was born in Athens on January 28, 1929 a daughter of the late Floyd and Pauline Barrowcliff Bidlack Sr. She graduated from the Athens High School, a member of the class of 1948. Some of her favorite pastimes were crafts, reading, and clipping articles from local papers, of which her favorite subjects were poetry and Bradford County history. Surviving: are two sons: Robert (Joann) Rought of Canton and Randy (Bonnie) Rought of Elizabeth, CO; four grandchildren: Heather, Jennifer, Erin and Tamara, their spouses and numerous great-grandchildren; three sisters: Phoebe Keeney, Wilma Freeman and Harvalee Dimon. Lucy was predeceased by her husband, Victor Corey; and her brother Floyd Bidlack Jr. Funeral arrangement will be held at the convenience of the family and are under the direction of the P.
