Laura was born on July 20, 1939 at home in Terry Twp, PA, daughter of the late Raymond “Smokey” and Dorothy Benjamin Anderson. She graduated from the Wyalusing High School in the class of 1957. She married Robert Loyack Sr. of Wyalusing on April 18, 1959. Bob predeceased her on December 4, 1999. She worked as a receptionist at Ottavani’s Optometrist Office for 34 years retiring in 1999. Laura was a member of The Wyalusing Methodist Church, Wyalusing, PA. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as well as playing softball, hunting, and bowling where she was the Wyalusing Women’s Bowling League secretary for years. She was also a member of the American Legion Post #534 Women’s Auxillary. Surviving: Sons and daughter-in-law: Robert A. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA, with the Rev. Penney M. Rahm presiding. Interment will be in the Wyalusing Cemetery Friends may call at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M.
