Mrs. Sarah E. (Sally) McHugh, age 70, of Julia St., Dushore, PA passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the Memorial Hospital, Towanda, PA.
Sally was born September 21, 1941 in Strobleton, PA a daughter of the late Clarence John & Margaret Jean McDonald Nick. She married Jack McHugh of Wilkes-Barre, PA in 1962. They resided in Plymouth for several years and then moved to Little Falls, NJ where they resided for fourteen years. Sally was employed by several nursing homes in New Jersey before she and Jack retired to Dushore in 1985. Jack predeceased her in 2004.
Sally was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Dushore, PA as illness required her to stay at home, she very much enjoyed reading, working with ceramics and doing word puzzles.

Justin McHugh, Shawn McHugh and Daniel McHugh
And numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers: Cletus Nick in 2008 and Phillip Nick in 2008; and sisters: Connie Rex in 1998 and an infant sister Lois Marie Nick.
A Transferal Service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred, PA.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 18th, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Members of IHM Parish Altar and Rosary Society will recite the Rosary at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
