OBITUARY
Earlyn (Bill) D. Gamble, age 79, of Sugar Run, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at the Robert Packer Hospital with his loving family at his side.
Bill was born in Sugar Run, PA, on February 2, 1932, a son of the late Earl J. and Evelyn Garey Gamble. He attended Wyalusing High School and graduated in the class of 1949. He married the former Mabel Smith of Laceyville, PA on November 6, 1950; they had been married for 61 years. After school he worked with his father at the Wyalusing Planing Mill, he later joined his father in running the business, and took over after his father passed away. He retired in 1993. In retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved the outdoors, doing yard work, hunting, fishing, and watching the wildlife.
He was a member of the Wyalusing United Methodist Church and a past master of the Wyalusing Mason’s lodge # 618 F A&M.

Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Services are under the direction of P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA 18853.
The family will provide the flowers and request that Memorial Contributions be sent to the Bradford County Humane Society, PO Box 179, Ulster, PA 18850, or the Wyalusing United Methodist Church, PO Box 155, Wyalusing, PA 18853-0155, or in honor of his grand-daughter donations can be sent to The LARC School, 1089 Creek Rd, Bellmawr, NJ, 08031.
