Evelyn was born on September 18, 1924, in Elmira, NY, daughter of the late Charles and Ida Wells Woodruff. She met and married Daniel Kithcart of Terrytown, PA on August 12, 1939; they recently just celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed her cat and dog. Surviving: Spouse Daniel at home Daughters and sons-in law: Janet (Wayne) DeRemer Laceyville, PA Donna Kithcart and Michael Spring Hill, PA Pam (Karl) Santee Wyalusing, PA Son Daniel C. Kithcart & Joyce Wilcox Ulster, PA 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers; Clifford Woodruff, Howard Woodruff, Karl Heeman, Francis Heeman, and Allie Heeman, and a sister Jenny Wheaton. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA, with the Rev. Penney M Rahm, officiating. Interment to follow in Wyalusing Cemetery, Wyalusing, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
