Paul was born in Madisonville, TN on July 7, 1924 a son of the late Charles Marshall Snider and Ila Mae Wells Snider. Paul served in the US Navy from 1942 to 1944 during WWII. Paul married the former Catherine (Babe) Borick of Lopez, PA on May 9, 1964. She predeceased him on October 5, 2010. Paul was an Air Traffic Controller and was stationed in Boston, MA; North Ridge, CA for 15 yrs. and Lady Lake, FL for 13yrs retiring to Lopez, in 2001. Surviving: Son: Mark Snider West Lake Village, CA Brother-in-law: Steve Borick Towanda, PA Sisters-in-law: Eva Schneider Perkasie, PA Mildred Black Summit, NJ Cecelia Borick Boyertown, PA Robin Borick Hudson, FL And numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter Tammy on Dec. 29, 2010. Burial Service will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2011at 10:00 A.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA with Hieromonk Michael Thier, pastor of St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Church, officiating. Interment will be in St. Vladimir’s Cemetery, Lopez, PA. Friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
