Marianne was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 13, 1936 a daughter of the late Ernesto and Ann Garcia. She graduated from the Nassau County Vocational Nursing School and was a registered nurse in Queens for many years, until retiring to Laceyville. Surviving: Four sons: Andrew M. (Laura) Cruz Dushore, PA Frank Cruz Louden, TN Anthony Perez Laceyville, PA Michael Perez Laceyville, PA Daughter: Lisa Leah Rizzo Williamsport, PA Sister: Catherine Diffley Rockaway Beach, NY 9 grandchildren: Tiffany Davis Sally Rizzo Joseph Rizzo Austin Rizzo Tina Marie Cruz Andrew Cruz Christopher Cruz Kimberly Kelly Antonio Cruz 2 great grandchildren: Zachary Davis Mara Davis She was predeceased by a son, Joseph Vincent Andrew Cruz on September 19, 1987 and a son-in-law: Arthur Rizzo on October 15, 2001. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Basil’s Cemetery, Dushore, PA with the Rev. Joseph R. Hornick, pastor, presiding.
