OBITUARY
James (Bonzo) P. Bryan, passed away on June 18, 2011 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA, with his family by his side.
Bonzo was born in Towanda, PA, on December 24, 1961 son of Gloria Silverstrim Bryan and the late John J. Bryan, Jr. He graduated from Sullivan County High School a member of the Class of 1979.
Bonzo was a big man with an even bigger heart. He loved spending time with his family and his friends, especially his niece and nephew, who were for all intents and purposes just like children to him. He was always ready to help anyone with anything at any time, whether it was helping Nick and Emily get moved into their new houses, or helping a friend work on their car. Bonzo was extremely handy and very knowledgeable when it came to anything having to do with motors and or construction. He was very proud to be a self-employed over the road truck driver. Bonzo enjoyed drag racing his 1972 Nova in Nu Media with his team “Banjo Racing” and dune buggy racing in Monroeton He enjoyed spending time in his garage and always had a project that he was working on. He had a great love for animals especially dogs. He loved to hunt, having just finishing building a new deer stand with the help of his friend Wolfie. He will be missed by many.
Bonzo was a member of St. Basil’s Church in Dushore, PA.

A Mass of Christian Burial at will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Basil’s Church Dushore, with the Rev. Joseph R. Hornick, his pastor, presiding. Interment will be in St. Basil’s Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday, June 22 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA.
The Family will provide the Flowers and request that memorial be directed in his memory to St. Basil’s Restoration Fund, PO Box 307, Dushore, PA 18614.
