Mary Lou was born in LeRoy, PA on March 3, 1933, a daughter of the late Wesley & Alma Lamont Mott. She graduated from Canton High School a member of the class of 1949. She married Jim Chadwick of Merryall on December 27, 1953. She was a homemaker and a loving spouse, mother and grandmother. She loved her family and her friends dearly. She was a member, elder, and trustee of the Camptown Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Camptown Civic Club. Surviving: Her spouse, Jim; son and daughter-in-law, Jay & Barb; two daughters and sons-in-law, Gina & Karl Peterson and Julie & Ken Howard; sister, Dorothy Smithgall of Canton; sisters-in-law, Wanda Chadwick of Inverness, FL and Dorothy Ann Brabson of Titusville, FL; grandchildren, James W. Chadwick II, Lauren Ann Chadwick, Wyalusing, PA; Jonathan & Katie Peterson, Orlando, FL; Joseph & Roxana Peterson, and great granddaughter, Grace of El Salvador; Dan Howard and fiancée Colleen Potter, Keith Howard and Claire Howard of Wyalusing, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Mott, and three sisters, Jean Holcomb, Marion Holmes and Bernice Holcomb. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the Camptown Community Church at 12:00 Noon the Rev. Bill Westbrook and Rev. David Dewing officiating, Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon. The family will provide the flowers and requests that Memorial Contributions be sent to the Camptown Presbyterian Church, PO Box 163, Camptown, PA 18815 or a local charity of one’s choice.
