Savage of Hillsgrove, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2011. Phyllis was born in Camden, NJ on January 29, 1938 a daughter of the late Joseph & Lena DiAntonio Miraglia. She graduated from Our Lady of the Angels Academy in Haddonfield, NJ a member of the class of 1957. She married Edward J. Savage of Deptford on April 26, 1958. They resided in Deptford, NJ and retired first to Muncy Valley in 1984 and later to Hillsgrove in 2002. Phyllis was an active member of St. Basil’s Church and a Eucharist Minister. She enjoy her flower garden, traveling, word puzzles, knitting and walking. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great granddaughters. Surviving: Two sons: Edward (Jenn) Savage III Turnersville, NJ Joseph (Diane) Savage Woodbury, NJ Two daughters: Maryanne Savage Muncy Valley, PA Debbi(Bill) Martiner Churchville, PA Brother: Paul (Penny Sue) Miraglia Carolina Shores, NC Sister: Jo-Ann Johnston Ocean Isle Beach, NC Three grandchildren: Trevor, Trinna and Brandon Two great granddaughters: Ava & Cameron A Transferal Service will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, PA with the Rev. Joseph R. Hornick, her pastor, presiding. Interment will be in St. Basil’s Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday, Feb. 21st from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M at the funeral home.
