Streich, age 67, of 6 Airport Road, Dushore, PA passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2011 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA with his loving family at his side. Donald was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 12, 1943, son of the late Charles Joseph & Kathryn Elizabeth Kennedy Streich. He graduated from Lincoln High School of Philadelphia, a member of the class of 1961. He married Karen Anne Hergesheimer of Philadelphia, PA on January 9, 1965. They would have celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary this past Sunday January 9th. She predeceased him two weeks ago on January 8, 2011. Don became a mechanical engineer and worked for Stuble & Moffit Paper Manufacturers of Runnemede, NJ, retiring to Sullivan County in 1994. He was a member of St. Katherine’s of Sienna, Catholic Church in Philadelphia and a member of the N.R.A. He really enjoyed the outdoors and caring for his pets, especially riding his horse. (Joy) Streich Dushore, PA Daughters: Sherry (John) Pettit Philadelphia Brother: Charles (Marlene) Streich Williamstown, NJ Brother-in-law: Ira (Cassie) Hergesheimer Philadelphia Sisters-in-law: Ella (Louis) Cloren Hatfield, PA Two grandchildren John & Stephen Pettit and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Nancy Trappler of Philadelphia. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Our Lady of Calvary Church in Philadelphia with Interment in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne, PA.
