Hanzok, age 61, of 621 Lime Hill, Wyalusing, PA passed away on Monday, January 17, 2011at the Robert Packer Hospital with his loving family at his side. Bob was born July 21, 1949 in Minersville, PA son of Anne M. Steponaitis Hanzok and the late John J. Hanzok. His family moved to New Albany when he was an infant and he attended St. Basil’s Elementary School and graduated from the Wyalusing High School, a member of the class of 1968. He attended Mansfield University and was called to service with the US Navy and was medically retired in Philadelphia. He married the former Priscilla Welles of Wyalusing on August 16, 1969. He began working in the Medical Equipment and Supply business, eventually owning his own company in South Jersey. They moved back to Wyalusing in 2000. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. A private Graveside Service will be held on Saturday at the Wyalusing Cemetery, with the Rev. Joseph R. Hornick, presiding.
